Mom's Mistakes

I made mistakes being a mom, often more than I'd like to admit, but I will always be there for you, to cheer you, to laugh and cry with you, to protect you with my life, and sometimes tell you things you don't want to hear. I will love you for eternity with all my heart. No one will ever love you more than I do...I'm your mom......(and so glad I am)

NOW WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?

I have a second self in me
That people scarcely ever see...
A very charming, clever chap
Who has no tongue-tied handicap;
Who alway has a quick come back,
Smart repartee, a cute wisecrack,
The only trouble is that he
Speaks only when alone with me.
All night his wit flows through my head...
The brilliant things I wish I'd said,
HL Marshall

Two Defining Forces

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you.... JESUS CHRIST and the AMERICAN SOLDIER. One died for your soul and the other died for your freedom.
Happy Birthday America

Daydreams

This is just me at play with things that catch my fancy while traveling with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Parkinson's Disease and now Epilepsy.......Everyone needs a laugh sometime!

Not to Be Taken to Heart

For Arthritis
Drink a mixture of honey, vinegar and moonshine.
Make a tea from either the seeds of leaves of alfalfa.
Drink powdered rhubarb dissolved in white whiskey.
A magnet draws it out of the body.( which the whiskey or the arthritis)

ANGELS

We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing each other.

RED FRIDAYS

Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing RED every Friday. The reason? Americans who support or troops used to be called the "SILENT MAJORITY' we are no longer silent, and are voicing our love of God, Country and home in record breaking numbers. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our Troops with Dignity and Respect starts this Friday...and continues each and every Friday until the Troops come home, sending a deafing message that....every red blooded American who supports our Men and Women afar, will wear something RED. (thank you Harold)

WORDS TO LIVE BY........

Take a 10-30 minute walk every day and while your walking, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Buy a lock if you have to.

Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out credit card.

Try to make at least three people laugh or at least smile each day.

Spend time with people over the age of seventy and under the age of six.

especially for you.....

"I made it 'specially for you,"He said and handed me.... no matter what it was I knew it came straight from the heart. "Especially for you"...three words such potent magic hold. They turn the smallest gift on earth to one of purest gold." A World That Sings
